Computer Centre

The Computer Centre is housed in building Κ17. It has a local network, ten work stations and a network printer and its software systems can be used for teaching and research purposes:

• Windows Vista

• MS Office 2007 (Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint)

• Pratt

The Computer Centre is also used for laboratory training (e.g. Laboratory Phonetics, Electronic Lexicography, Dialectology, etc.) and is open at certain times to students who need to use its computer facilities to write up projects, search for information on the Internet, use databases, etc.

The Computer Centre is run and maintained by a specialist computer technician.
