General Programme

The General Programme of the Department of Philology's Programme of Study is completed in the first four semesters and includes a series of introductory modules covering Classics (Ancient and Latin Philology), Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology, Linguistics and associated fields within the Humanities, such as History, Archaeology and Philosophy (general education modules) which are considered essential in order for students to develop the background knowledge required.
